A geode d20 die, it's a black and grey marbled "rock" with a sparkly white interior, and the "crystals" in the center are lavender glitter with a green colorshift. It looks hollow but it's filled with clear resin on top of that, so the entire die is solid resin with a miniscule layer of paint and glitter inside It's not sanded smooth or inked yet so the numbers are hard to see, and there are 2 small bubbles on the 20 face, but all that will be fixed in time

My hands in vinyl gloves, holding a large clear resin d20, but just under the surface it's a grey scratched and aged and dry-brushed blank, with the angles carved out and filled with green miniature flock. And a few tiny dried flowers scattered in there If you're worried about the numbers, they just haven't been painted yet

VERY happy with this new mold! I only have to sand/polish one face (the 20) this way, rather than 4 faces (the 20 and the 3 that touch it) plus the resin reservoir in the cap means I won't get air bubbles

I tested it out with another geode design, like the first die I made— this time a white stone with a glittery black interior 🔳🔲🔳🔲🔳

The die, fresh out of the mold. It's smooth with well-defined numbers, although the top face, the 20, has some extra rough edges and a lump of resin trimmed off with an x-acto knife It looks like a white d20, made of equilateral triangles, with an irregular hole carved out in one section, the inside of that hole is black with dark rainbow glitter. The shape looks hollow but it's filled with clear resin, and there are small numbers on each face, making it a functional die
Here's the die polished and inked! Each number on the white part has been filled with black paint, and each number on the clear part over the black hollow has been filled with white paint, for maximum visibility The number 6 (with pip) crosses from the white part to the black part, so I've inked it half black and half white. I'm very proud of this!

A clear d20 that's a little hazy inside, from green shimmers Suspended inside the die is a partially dissolved skeleton, holding a rusted sword and shield It's very hard to get a good look because of all the facets, so the skeleton shape is broken up and reflected
A view from above the skeleton, you can see it's floating in pieces that are not attached to one another. I did this by using clear UV resin as glue to keep the bones connected without touching
Rusty and crumbled shield of metal, painted white, painted with the red rising sun of Lathander. Nothing against the Morninglord, I just liked how simple his symbol is The sword is just silver metal with a black grip and red pommel
You can see the green shimmer better on a black background here, and the ivory, brown-shaded bones. It's hard to tell in photos but I made streams of pearly nail art bubbles rising from the skeleton in difference places, as if the Cube's acid is digesting it

A clear resin d20 with a large treasure chest mimic inside. It's shaped like a classic wood & iron chest, but it has six angry copper cat eyes, a pink fleshy interior, a long pink, purple, and blue tongue, and many sharp little teeth
The mimic is made of polymer clay and painted, it's hard to see the shape of it with the facets but it fills the whole die and has some scattered gold sequin coins below it

A little resin castle with 7 towers and a large entrance hall sits on a round floating island. It's all cast in brown resin, but I've added some sand and grass around the castle, some dusty weathering to the stone, and mint green and copper paint to the roofs, as if they're verdigris copper The island is glued with UV resin to a triangular clear resin platform, that will fit in the bottom of the die
Now the castle is inside a 40mm clear resin die! It's hard to see from this angle but there are soap clouds below the island. The light refraction for something completely submerged in resin makes the colors look very flat, but this works in favor of metallic finishes so the copper really pops I still have to polish the die to a high shine and paint in the numbers

I tried out (faux) scrimshaw! The icosahedron blank was just off-white resin, and I carved it with a carbon steel scribe, then filled the scratches with ink like real scrimshaw. Resin is really hard to scratch!! 🐋

An off-white 40mm die insert (it goes inside the shell with the numbers on it) that's been scratched with the shapes of a compass rose, a seagull, and a ship on some of the visible faces. Around other faces there's a length of looping rope
