Waaaay back when, I used a free Z-Brush-like program (I can NOT remember the name of it, 
) to sculpt this 3D model of Aster's head, so I could more make sense of how to draw it from different angles.
It helped a *bunch* when I went on to draw the first chapter. You can read that at https://sableandaster.com/
The only thing I'd change is I'd scooch her ear back a little farther; it's way too far forward, it's sitting on her cheekbone. x__x Whoops!
Failure is always an option but I still love how this is coming out. This will become an epoxy test.
