Will 🏳️🌈<p>Had an unexpected discovery recently.</p><p>As you might know, my husband is profoundly hard of hearing and is legally blind. I had been holding off on learning ASL except for finger-spelling and a few choice words because I didn't think knowing ASL would help if he couldn't see. I knew about Tactile Sign, but thought it was a completely different language. That was corrected for me quite recently.</p><p>So I started studying ASL a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, due to my ME/CFS, I experience PEM (post-exertional malaise) after more than 15 minutes of signing. A day later I was knocked out quite badly for more than a day.</p><p>I didn't anticipate I would have this experience. So now I need to figure out how to be able to sign and not be in a perpetual ME/CFS crash!
