Hez<p>Learning for the first time tonite about <a href="https://ieji.de/tags/Friendica" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Friendica</span></a> - it originally sounded like a misremembering of <a href="https://ieji.de/tags/Friendster" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Friendster</span></a>, the 2003 <a href="https://ieji.de/tags/SocialMedia" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SocialMedia</span></a> precursor to <a href="https://ieji.de/tags/Myspace" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Myspace</span></a>, which, as an <a href="https://ieji.de/tags/InternetElder" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>InternetElder</span></a>, forms part of my long lived experience online. Having been so happy with my <a href="https://ieji.de/tags/Mastodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Mastodon</span></a> &amp; now my <a href="https://ieji.de/tags/Bluesky" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Bluesky</span></a> experience, it's cool to see the <a href="https://ieji.de/tags/Fediverse" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Fediverse</span></a> also has an option for both (AND <a href="https://ieji.de/tags/Tumblr" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Tumblr</span></a> &amp; <a href="https://ieji.de/tags/WordPress" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>WordPress</span></a>) to be supported within Friendica. I'm not scared of the install either, so this might be a fun option for me.</p>
