The historian, Vincent O'Malley, now has a newsletter called Unsettling: Aotearoa New Zealand History. You can subscribe to it, which I have done, but the reply I received indicated there was a paid subscription tier of $6 a month. Not sure if that's for all or only some posts. First one at least is freely available though at the link below, where you can also subscribe.

Fascists Have No Drip, a video about fashion under Fascism (Italy brand) - by a drag artist in a stunning look, which dragged me in... But I stayed for the sources! 19 minutes.

Quotes: "The Italian Fascist Party didn't have to invent misogyny. The anti-feminist backlash in Italy was well underway before the fascists came to power."

"But as the previous quote suggests, Italian Fascism was a cult of male sexuality, one that wanted to ignore women as much as it wanted to subjugate them. When the Fascist Party did give attention to women, it was often to parade them as objects of propaganda."

I’ve been posting weekly reminders about Business As Usual every Monday morning for about two years now.

But you know what? I could legitimately have been doing it each week for the past 30 or 40 years! Because that’s how long the ‘elite’ rulers of our society have been fully aware of what they are doing and yet continued pushing non-stop in a destructive rapacious exploitative colonial capitalist frenzy — completely ignoring the science and dooming the rest of us to a disastrous ecological breakdown.

All in the name of profits.
