Murray LivingstonOne of the finest views in <a href="https://mas.to/tags/Scotland" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Scotland</a> sits amidst the towering <a href="https://mas.to/tags/mountains" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#mountains</a> of Torridon. The summit itself is a flat shelf with steep drops to the south, providing an uninterrupted vista of the expansive glen beyond. The mountain itself is not on many people's lists; not surprising given it's dramatic neighbours. Murray LivingstonHappy World Rewilding Day! This image was made under the canopy of a lovely old granny Scots Pine, some hundreds of years old. It's seedlings were scattered in a ring around it, growing slowly but surely. During late summer, pine cones which are ready to drop will literally "pop" off of the tree with an audible crack, launching themselves away from the trunk to find new ground.
