Amateur Human<p><a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/Google" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Google</span></a> search engine is gone forever, RIP</p><p>I remember using this search engine at Uni back in 199x and thinking how much better than <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/Lycos" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Lycos</span></a> and <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/askjeeves" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>askjeeves</span></a> this was</p><p>But it's gone. No useful hits, no interesting threads, no hope of "maybe i'll find it on the second page".<br>Just pages and pages of utter bullshit curated by a computer with a napolean complex.</p><p>I hope <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/duckduck" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>duckduck</span></a> make a good go of it and don't get bought by a cunt...</p>
