Ein Kormoran ruht auf einem Felsen an einem felsigen Meeresufer.

Das Bild zeigt einen einzelnen Kormoran, der auf einem dunklen, rauen Felsen sitzt. Der Vogel ist hauptsächlich schwarz gefärbt und hat einen kleinen, gelben Fleck an seinem Schnabelansatz. Er scheint ruhig und aufmerksam zu sein, blickt leicht nach oben. Der Kormoran sitzt in der Mitte des Bildes, im Vordergrund. Im Hintergrund erstreckt sich ein blaues Meer, dessen Wellen sanft gegen die Felsen schlagen. Der Wasserstand ist relativ niedrig, so dass mehrere Felsen aus dem Wasser ragen. Die Felsen sind dunkelgrau und braun, mit einer unebenen Oberfläche. Die Farben im Bild sind insgesamt eher kühl und gedämpft die blaue Farbe dominiert, mit den dunklen Braun- und Grautönen der Felsen. Die allgemeine Atmosphäre ist ruhig und friedlich, fast meditativ. Das Licht scheint von oben, leicht seitlich auf den Kormoran zu fallen, wodurch der Vogel hervortritt. Es wirkt wie ein ruhiger, sonniger Tag. Das Bild vermittelt ein Gefühl von Einsamkeit und Ruhe, der Vogel als einsame Figur in einer weiten Landschaft.

Low Lighthouse - Burnham-on-Sea

This is an earlier shot than the one I shared on Monday. This was taken close to the lighthouse, it's a better shot but lacks the colour of the previous one.

A wooden lighthouse on legs stands in shallow water just off the shore. The turbulent sea has been smoothed over with a 60 second exposure. The sun has set and the few clouds above the horizon are catching the last colour of the day.

I was busy today, so did the nice dog walk this evening instead of lunchtime. Glassy calm and no distance haze tonight, plus a nice sunlight peeking through broken cloud cover.

A unmetalled lane leads off into a coastal landscape view, a calm glass-like sea in the mid distance with a sky of broken cloud with brighter patches of sunlight poking through it. A small fluffy and white (ish) terrier dog is coming back towards the photographer wondering where he's got to and can we carry on with the walk now he's got a picture thank you.

#MeerMittwoch - wir müssen uns ganz dringend um ein Urlaubsziel für dieses Jahr kümmern.

Farbfotografie im Querformat zeigt einen Abschnitt an der Küste, wo ein befestigter Weg ins Meer führt. Links im Bild ist ein steiler Dünenabschnitt. Oben auf der Düne stehen mehrere Häuser an der Kante. Das Meer ist aufgewühlt und die Wellen laufen donnernd auf den Strand. Der Himmel ist sommerlich blau mit kleinen Wolken.

Beobachtet bei Boltenhagen an der #ostsee

Möwen unterschiedlichsten Alters sitzen auf aus dem Wasser ragenden Buhnen, im Hintergrund liegt ein rotes Fischerboot. Am untersten Rand des Bildes schwimmen junge Möven.

I never had Barrow-in-Furness down on my bucket list, but I cycled round Walney and Barrow yesterday and have to admit to being pleasantly surprised.
This is the channel between the island and the mainland, with some Lakeland fells in the background.
