Vittoria Pirone 🇪🇺<p>Via AFP<br>The Paris Court of Appeal announced in a statement Tuesday that it had received "three appeals" at this stage following the convictions of <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/MarineLePen" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MarineLePen</span></a> and the <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/NationalRally" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>NationalRally</span></a> , and "will examine this case within a timeframe that should allow for a decision to be rendered by the summer of 2026."</p><p>If these deadlines are met, this would mean that this second trial would be held no later than early 2026, and that the decision would be rendered months before the 2027 presidential election.</p>
