The meeting was a potential turning point after the frenetic first weeks of #Trump’s 2nd term. It yielded the first significant indication that Trump is willing to put some limits on #Musk, whose efforts have become the subject of several lawsuits & prompted concerns from #Republican lawmakers, some of whom have complained directly to Trump.

People across the world celebrated #Hurricane years after he stopped the intruder.

In Oct 2019, the People’s Dispensary for Sick Animals, a British #veterinary #charity, gave Hurricane its Order of Merit. The honor is the animal equivalent of the Order of the British Empire, which the royal family has awarded for #charitable & #PublicService works for over a century. In Mar 2022, Hurricane was given a Distinguished Service Medal from the award body Animals in War & Peace.

Hmm... what interesting things could I do with a fleet of #Teslas if I were to buy them back from people who are underwater, at what they owe, rather than what they're worth?

You'd have to make this a non-profit because by definition you're taking a loss, but then what do you do with them? Sell them and just take/eat/write off the loss? Or something exciting? Give me ideas!

Like TVNZ and KiwiRail, NZ Post is another failed commercialisation that needs to be turned back into a not-for-profit. The natural monopoly parts like the mail delivery network, from post boxes to mail sorting to delivery runs, need to be run by a public infrastructure body. With other postal service entities able to build on top, just as freight and passenger services can be built on top of publicly-owned road and rail networks.
