A Mastodon milestone.
According to my phone this my three thousandth toot.
It is hard to believe that I've had so much to show and tell.
The thing is, that I showed up here uninvited, and with zero social media experience. My grandkids thought this might be the best place for me to lurk if I wanted Covid updates coming from people that were actually knowledgeable. So, I dipped my toe in the social media pond.
They thought there was a good chance some pretty smart people, were to be found here, if I looked.
It turned out I was to find so much more than knowledge.
There is overt kindness and acceptance here and I didn't have to look far to find it.
You found me.
I am thankful.
The fact that you are overwhelmingly smart, and kind, and that you generously share your expertise, is a bonus.
I am privileged to inhabit a small space in your digital community.
