🅰🅻🅸🅲🅴 (🌈🦄)<p>My girlfriend has been listening to a story about a trans girl growing up in the South (who passes easily for a cis woman). I've only heard bits of it, but there was a scene that caught my attention:</p><p>The girl was with a boy she liked, and their hearts were racing, and she was agonizing about what he would think/do if he knew she was trans, and feeling guilty for not having already told him.</p><p>It occurred to me that if I was in that scenario (in the boy's position), and someone I was into broke away from kissing me to say they were AMAB or AFAB or intersex and trans, that my honest reaction would probably be "Oh, okay. Did you want to stop and talk about that or keep making out?"</p><p>I think my reaction would have been similar even back in highschool, long before I realized I was nonbinary.</p><p>In that moment, it occurs to me that finding out the person I was with was trans would be roughly as off-putting as finding out they were originally a brunette, but had dyed their hair. HYPERPEACE<p>One of the most accurate ways to describe <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/sexuality" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>sexuality</span></a> and even the more controversial paraphilias/fetishes is with the shape toys, because these are the lows we have to use to describe it to people who don't understand or conflate/strawman then with each other. </p><p>Circle, square and star holes.</p><p>Let's say you got your gender preferred sexuality as a circle.<br>You got paraphilias as a square.<br>Finally you got fetishes as the star.<br>Now try to group them.</p><p>You can't.</p><p>Do you know why?</p><p>Because they're separate things. They're not linked. They belong to their respective categories and nothing else. I can't believe this has to be explained. Like if somehow people attracted to men are 'pedophiles', then so too are straight people, so too are people with a foot fetish.
