penpencilbrush🇨🇦Haven't done any knitting in a couple of weeks - can't be good for me. Time to cast on Twinkle Toes Sock #3. Already made Sock #1. Very different - it uses double pointed needles instead of cable needles, and larger (3.5mm) needles. Going to switch the red and the cream, because I have more leftover cream yarn. Bel TamtuFinished my first pair of socks! Now, I didn't have the wrapper with the yarn that told me the length anymore, long gone, so I was eyeballing how much to use. I didn't make the left sock's leg portion very long at all.But it was too long to make an actual matching pair with what was left over, I had enough to do the foot and heel and cuff but basically no leg portion. I'm not that bothered as these were for me and a way of learning socks.My roommates want socks now, and though I want to eventually try making my own socks without a pattern this year, I would appreciate the experience knitting different sizes from a pattern. So. I'm knitting them socks from the same pattern. Baroque MongooseThis is where we currently are with the socks; as you see, I'm now on the home straight.
