It seems to have escaped their attention that they live in IRELAND, and this is our national language; it’s legal, it’s used in Courts, in Stormont; has been used by our MPs in House of Commons, and by various members of the royal family on State visits to Ireland - north and south. No one is holding their heads in a fixed position or forcing them to read anything in Irish. All the signage will also be available in English, for those who cannot tell the difference between Beal Feriste and Belfast. 🚮 aka Jamie Bryson is trying to lodge legal objection against Irish Language signage with the courts. We have so many problems, not least the reduction in PIPs and other benefits, the negative effects of the new ETA, the problems being caused by the American administration worldwide; and this kind of bigotry is what gets them up in the morning. HarriettMBFactory farming is wrong on every possible level; cruel, inhumane, pollution, and health. DAERA in NI are contradicting themselves here - belatedly expressing concerns about pollution, having enabled so many of these factory farms in the last ten years or so; currently putting a plan in place to try and save Lough Neagh and restore it. At the same time, DAERA have announced an appeal against the court ruling that stops polluting gas caverns being excavated in a Marine protected area at Islandmagee. The company concerned has just bailed out of Harland & Wolff Shipyard in Belfast, as they have no money and lots of bills. Why is DAERA talking out of both sides of its mouth? Why are they appealing a court ruling against a company with no money? Why pretend they are concerned with pollution in Lough Neagh, while hoping to overturn a ruling against pollution of a protected marine area? Some years ago, Nichola Mallon of SDLP, reinstated sand dredging in Lough Neagh, despite a court ruling against it. Lord/Earl of Shaftsbury gets a royalty for every tonne of sand dredged there.
