Sur les conseils de membres de l'Air du Bois, j'ai fait un petit gabarit en contreplaqué de bouleau. Mes Beaux CopeauxVoilà, j'ai rattrapé mon "retard" sur le statut du meuble. Il reste plein de choses à faire... Les 9 tiroirs à faire et à installer, les façades (portes et faces des tiroirs), les finitions (plinthe, joues à gauche et à droite, finition en haut...), fixer le meuble au mur, ... Je suis pas prêt de m’embêter ! :neocat_shocked: (Surtout qu'après ce meuble là, il y a le reste de la cuisine...) Je suis vraiment très content du rendu actuel. C'était une étape que j'attendais avec impatience. Après toutes les étapes de conception, de préparation, d'achats de marchandises, ... Mes Beaux CopeauxAprès l'assemblage du premier caisson, j'ai vissé les pieds en dessous. Une fois les pieds fixés, c'est le moment de mettre le caisson en place. Il faut faire plusieurs trous pour laisser accès à des vannes qui resteront derrière le meuble. J'ai placé le meuble, repéré où il fallait faire les trous et puis j'ai utilisé une scie cloche pour faire la découpe. Ensuite, évidemment, ponçage pour que personne ne se griffe le jour où il faut toucher aux vannes. Mes Beaux CopeauxUne fois la finition appliquée et après avoir laissé sécher les panneaux tranquillement, j'ai assemblé les caissons. Les assemblages se font par vis biaises à l'aide d'un gabarit Kreg. Tous les trous sont réalisés dans les traverses. Il faut également prévoir les trous pour les montants intermédiaires. Une fois les montants et traverses assemblés, je mets les fonds dans les bâtées et je les visse. Enfin, je peux mettre les montants intermédiaires et les visser par le haut, le bas et l'arrière. Mes Beaux CopeauxUne fois le ponçage et les chants réalisés, il est temps de passer à la finition. J'ai trouvé que le Rubio n'était pas si simple que ça à appliquer. J'ai essayé au départ avec un rouleau de peintre pour finalement me rabattre sur une éponge. Avec le rouleau, c'était pas facile de ne pas mettre trop d'huile et avec l'éponge il faut frotter pas mal pour l'étaler à l'application. Et puis frotter pas mal ensuite avec un chiffon pour retirer l'excédent. Il faisait chaud, peut-être que ce n'était pas les conditions idéales. En tout cas, c'était sportif!
