WiFi is just a mechanism for connecting two or more devices to a network. Like Ethernet, but without cables. I've reinstalled, and updated, the Toshiba (my laptop make) WiFi driver to no success, the Intel WiFi driver wasn't successful either. This morning I installed a Netgear <a href="https://beige.party/tags/WiFi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#WiFi</a> dongle to, again, no success.Settings say that the WiFi is 'hard' switched off. So if I just move the toggle in the WiFi settings page it switches itself back off straight away.Is there anyway to fix this do you know?EDIT: there is no physical switchEDIT2: It's a Qualcomm Atheros AR002WB-1NG - this too is on the most recent driver.
