Many of my mutuals are directly as a result of <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/Fedivision" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Fedivision</span></a> so it was much appreciated. I had something in mind for this year so will record and release it anyway.</p>

Deborah Pickett<p>Some of you have been asking about the <a href="https://old.mermaid.town/tags/Fedivision" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Fedivision</span></a> song contest, and whether it will run this year. </p><p><a href="https://old.mermaid.town/tags/Fedivision2025" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Fedivision2025</span></a> will not be run. </p><p>The organizers (<span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://weirder.earth/@TQ" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>TQ</span></a></span>, <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.art/@zatnosk" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>zatnosk</span></a></span>, and me) agree that the Fediverse has grown to a size where Fedivision doesn’t work as a format any more. We have so many talented amateur musicians here that it’s not practical for voters to commit the hours of time needed to listen to all the entries.
