I would say that except for sterile medical single use supplies, plastic should be pretty much illegal. There's nothing that *needs* to be made out of plastic. Corporations aren't going to willingly cut back, and there aren't enough non-plastic consumer item options out there for boycotts or careful shopping to work, either. We need laws with teeth to stop plastic proliferation.
