Kelp and Fern
This is Paul Youd, an 87 year old vegan ultra-runner that I had the honour of documenting his latest ultra-marathon adventure, 50km around the city of Bath!

You read that right, 87 years old, VEGAN and smashing ultras!

He was supported by @runningonplants and their team and everyone made it to the finish line, inspired by Paul and his story! Make sure to check out their wonderful organisation.

A film will be in the works of this adventure to watch at www.youtube.com/@kelpandfern in the coming weeks and you'll learn more about Paul and why he went vegan and how he got in to running later on in life.

Araucana versteht 🌍 nicht mehr

Isha stand heute Morgen auffällig lustlos im Stall. Da sie eine aussortierte Hochleistunshybridhenne ist, ist meist ein (zu großes) Ei das Problem. Also erstmal ins Warme, Schmerzmittel und Ruhe. Nach vier Stunden kam dann das Ei. Zu groß, aber immerhin mit fester Schale.

Jetzt hat sie sich soweit erholt, dass sie auf die Küchenzeile geflogen ist. Also wieder raus zu den anderen.

Das blöde ist, dass das jederzeit wieder passieren kann.

Isha in einer Transportbox mit Bettlaken und Eiern. Unter ihr ein großes wrißes Ei.

@lichtscheu @FreyaRant wer vergammelte Leichenteile essen kann, kann auch Insekten essen, das hab ich schon gesagt, als ich da selbst noch dazu gehört habe.

Allerdings ist es wesentlich besser, einfach gar keine Tiere zu vernutzen.

Es gibt btw keine Speise-Insekten. So wie es auch keine Nutz-Tiere gibt. Wir nennen das nur gern so, um unsere kognitive Dissonanz zu erleichtern.
