If we all loved ourselves and others, treated ourselves and others with respect and dignity, and valued and cherished our natural world, what a beautiful, utopian existence this would be.

Unity, understanding, and compassion toward ourselves and others are the keys to preventing pain and loss. Division only leads to more suffering. We also need to protect the natural world, which sustains every form of life on this planet.

How does one recognize whether or not what one experienced was narcissistic abuse?

It's not like one can ask the hypothetical abuser. They will deny it. Is learning about the patterns of narcissistic abuse and subsequently recognizing how they show up in one's lived experience the best one can do?

I find that a very unsatisfactory conclusion but it does seem like the best one can do. I probably lived in a relationship with at least narcissistic abuse patterns. And the unsolvable ambiguity of it all bothers me.

How to make #ashes for #AshWednesday, part two: ashes become a fluffy gray powder after being run through the sieve. In #Hawaii we offer the ashes in one of two ways, either as powder to be sprinkled on the head or to be smudged across the head in the form of a #cross. To better facilitate the latter, I add #OliveOil to a bit of the powdered ash in a separate bowl (I use left over #healing oil), and mix it until it becomes a thick tar-like paste. This will make a solid cross that won’t rub off too easily (how I discovered this is a kind of gross story, tbh).

Again, church supply houses sell this stuff. But there’s a certain old knowledge that is lost when we buy stuff we can make for free.

I am stating this for my protection -

There is something insane going on where I live.

If I suddenly stop posting, the guy's name was Eric.

Will edit later when I know his last name.

He was scamming and selling drugs to disabled people in a facilityfor #healing from #addiction and #mentalhealth HURTING people with several others.

I became their "friend" and #recorded everything they did with audio to protect people, and me.

He had my number. Is sending me death threats and ran.

Abstract Subjectivism!

2025 年 2 月 22 日、午後 4:06

In the philosophy of art, subjectivism is the belief that art should capture and reflect the subjective experience of both the artist and the viewer, turning the work of art into a mirror. "Abstract Subjectivism" is a photographic art form that begins with traditional photography, using an image as its foundation. Through intensive editing, the photo is transformed into abstract, geometrically asymmetric forms that reflect the artist's emotional and psychological state. Intended as a healing mechanism, the artist expresses perceived flaws and inner conflicts through seemingly chaotic subjects called "errors," turning these imperfections into meaningful experiences. This process mirrors artistic subjectivism, creating catharsis by transferring the value of imperfection into the qualities that produce a work of art.

I am not a monster. I support the freedom to live and enjoy the possibilities of existence.

I belong to a diverse community of free individuals who tolerate each other through mutual influence inspiring one another on a humane level through mutual identification without ever losing our own independence.

No nationalism, no violence, no war.

TL;DR: if you wanna be a better person practice to wait a second every time you feel angry/scared/"other strong emotion" before you act. Just one second! Then think "what do I wanna do now?" and you will be able to think of better options. Better than the option you would have chosen if you didn't wait that second.

BOOM! Congrats, you're a better person than a second ago.

Usually it's some form of worthiness wound that pushes us to self-defense. Something we learned in our pasts that still lingers and makes us think "I am unworthy/unlovable/broken". We don't *want* to believe it but what if they're right?

When we are hit by words that feed into that belief, that insecurity, then we must push that possibility away. We are not like that! We cannot be!
