The Year Lot Longyear Became a Joshua Tree

Half the Park is After Dark. A magical winter night in Joshua Tree National Park. I love partially cloudy nights. To create this night photo, I lit the subject with a handheld LED flashlight while the camera shutter was open for a long time. So yes, this is a real single-exposure photo. And Lot Longyear is thought to be the bent figure on the cover of "Led Zeppelin IV."

Happy 2025 folks!

I wanted this years avatar to represent how I've been feeling about my creativity and artistic journey these past 12 months or so.

I have so many ideas that I want to explore and create but can't seem to make any of them materialise.

I've set myself goals to tackle different ascepts of myself that I feel needs work and by this time next year I plan to be thriving both personally and artistically.

I would prefer stock art, creative commons art, or public domain art that is used well with good layout and design than the use of #AI art in your role playing game.

You don't have a spend a ton of money on art.

If you can pay artists, that's even better. I love seeing new art in games.

I own a couple of games that I love that use manipulated stock art and well-chosen public domain art.

If you are using #AIArt, I'm not going to buy your game.
