But it is equally problematic for toxic air pollution if incinerated.</p><p>For that home Christmas tree It’s more sustainable to reuse a plastic Christmas tree for at least 12 years. </p><p>But there are better sustainable options including: <br>🌲Decorating a living outside tree <br>🎄Buying a live potted tree. Perhaps a potted Wollemi Pine (an endangered species in the wild)<br>🎄If you buy a cut plantation Christmas tree to use, thoughtful disposal can allow it to decompose back to organic components.
