DriftlessRootsSadly, the little thing started to emerge last evening. I say sadly because normally Monarchs emerge and begin their migration about a month ago. This one would have had that much less time to fly all the way tot he mountains of <a href="https://toot.community/tags/Michoacan" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Michoacan</a> in <a href="https://toot.community/tags/Mexico" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Mexico</a> to spend the winter. Even worse, it's been out of the chrysalis for hours now and its wings are showing no signs of expansion. I'm afraid this little visitor won't be with us much longer. 😔
