I love #languagelearning. I studied #German and #Spanish as a kid, took #Japanese in uni, and I'm currently studying #ASL #Cree #Tokipona #Spanish and #Chinese. I also dabble in #French and #Latin sometimes and I'm learning #Greggshorthand to write faster. Cree is my favourite language and Spanish is my second.

I've been cursed since childhood with that lovely trifecta of #heds #pots and #mcas. Healing slowly but surely.

Hope I get to meet even more cool people the algorithms would normally drown out on other social media sites. I love it here!

Following a sad life event in my surroundings, I created a 3D figurine of a star child out of love. Currently, I make star children as comfort gifts for parents who have lost a child. This is also the star child in a glass globe.

Naar aanleiding van een verdrietige levensgebeurtenis in mijn omgeving, maakte ik vanuit liefde een 3D beeldje van een sterrenkindje. Momenteel maak ik sterrenkindjes als troostgeschenk voor ouders die een kindje verloren zijn. Zo ook dit sterrenkindje in een glazen bol.

Ontario trilliums! This piece started as a sample for my spring wildflowers #needlefelting class. After the class, I took it out of the hoop it was in, did lots more needle felting, and then #wetfelted it. Now it’s mounted on a black felt covered canvas - and truly finished.

Needle felted trilliums - three blooms with stems and leaves. Multicoloured background. Somewhat circular shape mounted on black felt.

That time when I needle felted a vulva for my VulvAltar #NeedleFelting #Felt #Vulva

I wooden embroidery hoop on a white surface. Inside the hoop, there’s a bright pink felt background with on it a dark purple layer of wool that seems to beam out of the middle, on the purple are little embroidered golden dots that look like stars. In the middle, is a big felted vulva shape, with bright pink inner labia, yellow inside of them including the clitoris hood, and green for the inside of the vagina and the urinary track. The clitoris itself is made of a pink crystal bead.

Since people liked my little mushman, here's another one.

A crocheted mushroom with a face sits on the dash of a car. It has blue eyes slightly shaded by it's cap, and a purple cat-like smile. It's appendages are purple and the balls at the end that are hands and feet are bright green. The mushroom cap is purple and blue with blue squiggles felted on, with bits of hot pink, bright green, and yellow filling in areas of the squiggles.
