@stux it's probably right about now some Americans are going "oh so THAT'S why they restrict speech".
No bull, as a #Norwegian, I don't think we go hard enough with those laws - because the thing they don't know about those laws is that it's directed at politicians.
It's not "WE WANT TO RESTRICT YOUR FREEDOM", but more like "know your place, politician - mind your P's and Q's, or your party loses mandates".
It's the STFU laws, aimed squarely at those in power or those who want it.

He intentionally froze the specially designed ship #Fram into the ice for 3 years to study #Arctic #oceanography (a whole story on that!), invented water samplers and a closing plankton net named for him, became a diplomat, and was awarded the #Nobel Peace Prize for refugee works post WWI.
