A cloudy Saturday morning, ahead of chances of rain later today, and tomorrow . We had a quiet walk although a bit more folks and dogs for this early were there.

#STV News reporting a community rescue bid- led by golfers- for #Dalmuir #Golf Course in #Clydebank, owned by the local council who no longer want to subside it. I wonder, however, if local people would rather it was turned into a #park. The Fernbrae Country Park in South Lanarkshire is a very successful example of how that can be done. It's likely better for wildlife and the environment, and opens the land up to a far wider range of people
