Davidl've been working on reticello recently and tried to layer silver leaf in between the cups (a good suggestion from Bill Gudenrath). The silver is beautiful and makes the blank super reflective. Some of this is lost as the blank is blown out, so l have to keep playing with it. Started this piece with a little struggle, loosing five canes on the second rollup, but kept moving forward for practice. Now, off to its new owner. Looks amazing in the light! DavidRecent reticello bottle. I was rushing and took a gather just a few seconds too early. The studio was closing so l didn't have time to straighten out the pattern, but it is an interesting piece because of the added twist. In some of the pictures you can see the reticello seed than can be attached to a blowpipe and used later to create a vessel with the pattern. DavidMore Reticello! The green and white colors highlight the unique twist of this glass. I crafted a fun cup using only canes, resulting in a smaller amount of glass compared to a larger piece.
