The original painting is an illustration to a story I wrote 10 years ago but couldn’t finish yet. One of the main characters in this speculative fiction story is a mechanical black panther with a conscious mind. I’m very fascinated with what a mind and what consciousness is. I am a writer, teacher, researcher, feminist, aspiring singer and wannabe musician, poetess, and cat-lady (she/they). I write mostly poetry, speculative fiction, and experimental research. Heard about this on the "Church Times" podcast. A medieval murder mystery set in rural England. Or is it? To say more would give too much away. Liking it so far but it is not high on my reading priority list.
