My contribution to #SuperbOwlSunday, I decided to do a 1 hour painting of an owl that I found on wikipedia. I finished in 47 minutes in part because I got frustrated, but the finished piece isn't too bad for a quick sketch!

Love that owls are being celebrated today. Happy Superb Owl Day! This is my watercolor painting of the Great Horned Owl that stayed in our pine tree all day. It felt like a gift.
