If it snowed there, it was a few isolated flakes. However, the Watertown area, and north of it, was mightily walloped."Walloped how?"At some point, I was driving at 25mph (in a 65mph zone) in a thick layer of snow and in near white-out conditions."Did you have an accident?"No, I just moderated my speed, and kept my cool. Rich HolmesLately I've resumed going to contradances in the Syracuse, NY area for the first time in about a decade, and English country dances and pub sings regularly for the first time ever. When they moved the dancing to the eastern suburbs and we had a small child at home I got out of the habit, and I thought about it in recent years but held back due to covid.
