Luka Rubinjoni<p>Ok, makers &amp; tinkerers... My Dremel 4000 just started acting all weird - the rotor moves, but won't spin up to speed. I might have overloaded the tool while routing some wood. Dustin<p>I bought a GE fridge a few years ago but recently the lights inside have started flickering. My findings are:</p><p>There are seven white LED boards mounted around the perimeter of the fridge in a chrome plastic frame.</p><p>The LEDs are wired in series, as if I disconnect one, all seven turn off.</p><p>The flickering seems to be from a single LED which has partially failed, Vf is now 0.8V instead of 2.5V.</p><p><a href="https://geekdom.social/tags/Troubleshooting" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Troubleshooting</span></a><br><a href="https://geekdom.social/tags/Electronics" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Electronics</span></a></p>

DEVONtechnologies<p>Tip of the day: Quality assurance is a top priority in the development of our applications. Nevertheless, misbehavior can sometimes occur, leading to an application crashing or stalling. To investigate and fix the issue, we need a report with some information about it. Here’s how you can support us with that. <a href="https://mastodon.devontechnologies.com/tags/devonagent" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>devonagent</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.devontechnologies.com/tags/devonthink" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>devonthink</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.devontechnologies.com/tags/macos" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>macos</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.devontechnologies.com/tags/pkm" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>pkm</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.devontechnologies.com/tags/productivity" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>productivity</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.devontechnologies.com/tags/research" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>research</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.devontechnologies.com/tags/tipoftheday" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>tipoftheday</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.devontechnologies.com/tags/troubleshooting" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>troubleshooting</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.devontechnologies.com/tags/websearch" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>websearch</span></a> <a href="https://www.devontechnologies.com/blog/20230131-stalls-and-crashes" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">devontechnologies.com/blog/202</span><span class="invisible">30131-stalls-and-crashes</span></a></p>
DEVONtechnologies<p>Tip of the day: There are two ways to get data into <a href="https://mastodon.devontechnologies.com/tags/DEVONthink" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DEVONthink</span></a>, importing and indexing. Importing copies files into your databases. Indexing allows you to keep your files in their locations in the Finder but still be used in your databases. Moving indexed files can cause them to appear as missing in the database. Here’s how to successfully handle such a move. <a href="https://mastodon.devontechnologies.com/tags/pkm" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>pkm</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.devontechnologies.com/tags/productivity" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>productivity</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.devontechnologies.com/tags/tipoftheday" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>tipoftheday</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.devontechnologies.com/tags/troubleshooting" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>troubleshooting</span></a> <a href="https://www.devontechnologies.com/blog/20211130-relocate-indexed-files" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">devontechnologies.com/blog/202</span><span class="invisible">11130-relocate-indexed-files</span></a></p>
DEVONtechnologies<p>DEVONthink provides hidden preferences accessible from the Help menu. However, due to Apple's changes to the way application help works, this is no longer functional.
