So many probably wouldn’t assume this of me because the cute aesthetic of a lot if my store, but I’m an old goth who has always loved the subject of Victorian mourning and am a collector of Victorian mourning jewelry.

I can only guess that this was acquired some time ago; either bought, found or by attendance at the event (rather unlikely)
He died 16th January 1864 (according to Google - other search engines are available, we shouldn't be supporting this one any more I know)
