Jonobie<p>Ok, I'm trying to figure out how to direct warp my RHL with a "crammed" pattern (i.e., two strands through each slot and hole). Weirdly I can't find any videos on this? </p><p>It seems like I could just pull a loop through each slot and hole and then cut and tie on. OR I could pull two loops through each slot, cut, and sley by pulling two ends through the hole. </p><p>Am I missing something? Lichen<p><span>I’m weaving more black fabric, this time an angora/nylon blend at 24 epi in 2/2 twill. The warp is about 33 inches wide in the reed at 800 ends. <br><br>I’m weaving this fabric to make another reproduction of the Skjoldehamn hood, this time following the original construction and fabric structure more closely than I have previously. Jonobie<p>As I’m doing simple fringe for the first time on this scarf, I see why hem stitching is so lovely. This is gonna be mostly done once I finish these overhand knots, and the hem is really solid without any additional work. Just will need to trim the fringe, wash the fabric (pray some of it shrinks as it’s a weeeeee bit skeezy in some spots) and trim the joins. But no hemming. </p><p>Also I hope it shrinks because right now it’s kinda more “small blanket sized” on me than “shawl sized”. 🤣😂 <a href="https://social.coop/tags/weaving" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>weaving</span></a></p>

cyber<p>First time trying Inkle weaving! I started with tablet (unlike most people I know) and never gave it a shot. But I bought a nice little tiny loom at GulfWars and needed some strapping for a hook-and-toggle closure on a cloak. So I gave it a shot. Not bad!
