My daughter is looking to join a social media platform and find a support network for aspiring writers. I suggested Mastadon and promised her I'd see what kind of accounts, groups, and hashtags exist and if the engagement on this platform is robust.
So, any feedback from Mastadonians is welcome. Can she expect an excellent experience here? Any particular accounts that you would recommend her to follow is appreciated

@Garwboy As a friend of biodiversity I had nearly stopped reading until there: "I like all of those creatures. I find them fascinating, and they occupy important roles in our society and ecosystem. I would never say that about Mark Zuckerberg."
But now I dream of writer troll farms using your inspiring idea to train #AI: theneuroscienceofeverydaylife. Great! Made my day. 😂

The Neuroscience of Everyday Life · An article for Meta to use to train their AIBy Dean Burnett

If you're an author especially an indie author, it's very likely that Meta used pirated copies of your books to train their AI.

Remember, #AI is based on theft from creators.

You can find out if they stole from you by searching your author name here.
