Why throw away these stylish cans when we can turn them into fab storage solutions? I popped the tops off and added a safety ring, so now they're safe and ready to hold all our treasures without any sharp surprises! Let's give these beauties a second life! 
How do you “pop the top off”?
@MeNotU There’s two ways to get it done, that I know. If it’s a shallow can, you can actually just use a can opener! If it’s a bit deeper, like these cans, I had to use a wire cutter to get down deep enough. Unfortunately, that left a lot of ragged little bits of aluminum sticking out, so that’s why I glued on a ring of soft fabric around the inside of the top.
