The two #Colorado districts with the most #Medicaid recipients are represented by Republicans. I hope voters remember who did this to them when their benefits are cut. (Note: I’m not saying those districts or people “had it coming”. I myself am a blue dot in a district that has been Republican-controlled for decades. I did not vote for this, nor did many others. My heart breaks for those of us who must FO but didn’t FA.)
An annual girls’ #STEM camp in #Colorado was nearly cancelled after most sponsors backed out due to concerns about #DEI.
“…new concerns over federal funding policies have led nearly all of last year's sponsors to back out…sponsors are worried they could jeopardize government funding by supporting an event that promotes diversity.”
Thankfully, other donors in the community stepped up when they heard what happened, but what a disgusting display of cowardice. FFS.
Proud to see my local news #journalist being recognized and reposted on a national level. He is one of the good ones, and has consistently pushed back against and called out hatred and fascism. Mainstream media, take note. This is how you’re supposed to do it.
