Having learned a little about #CTE (Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy) -- repeated concussions resulting in #dementia -- I am not a fan of #football anymore (that and the racism et al). I can't watch it anymore but I can read about it and this article about the misogyny at the Super Bowl is an important read.

As a teen, my mom accidentally dropped baby RFK Jr on his head.

At the time, RFK Sr assured my mom the child was ok.

CTE may possibly be caused by one instance of brain trauma.

This is tough. As someone who’s experienced CTE (aka Mild Traumatic Brain Injury or mTBI), I know that effects can be subtle & long-lasting. Here’s hoping & praying that Nurse, who was playing so well, recovers quickly. Same for Canucks’ Boeser.
ps. I’m not happy with the minor 5 & 3-game suspensions to perpetrators
