Done this week for a community art study of water. Itsukushima temple, Rebelle 7 Pro.
This is from a photo I took in 2009, and my third attempt at painting it. A loose, painterly approach proved much more successful this time around, instead of getting lost in the accuracy and detail of the architecture. I wanted the focus to be the water, anyway.

Clip Studio, 2020. A painting referenced from my own photo, taken some years earlier. This is actually the second of two attempts I made to paint this one, the first was a struggle I abandoned in Photoshop, not long after I took the photo. Thankfully by 2020, I had learned enough to make it work.
