Haymarket Square at night. Prime example of anytown blanditechture, that adds nothing to the surrounding environment.
Looks better in photos than it does in real life. You'd think if they must impose a huge, towering building into a neighbourhood that didn't want it, you could at least have made it an interesting design, but no.
Interesting "ghost" light patterns from a car passing in front of the Saltwater chippy in #Bruntsfield during a long exposure shot https://www.flickr.com/photos/woolamaloo_gazette/54286670271/in/dateposted/

Huge, brilliantly bright Moon hanging over the roofs of #Bruntsfield ; was that howl from Bruntsfield Links from an evening dog walk, or ... Werewolf...?
(Insert "there wolf, there castle" joke here)
Bumped into this chap resting by the Union Canal at #Fountainbridge this evening. I've missed seeing swans along here since we lost our long-time breeding pair a couple of years ago. Nearly missed seeing him in the dark, having a nap
Beautifully bright moon rising over #Bruntsfield this evening
Looking into a cosy-looking @TheEdinburghBookshop at night, as the audience was arriving for an author event https://www.flickr.com/photos/woolamaloo_gazette/54115890852/in/photostream/
So the clocks went back at the weekend, and the night falls ever more swiftly over our city each evening.
But on a positive note, it really makes our bookshop look oh-so cosy, doesn't it??
This is less a fall of #autumn leaves and more a shag-pile rug of leaves, entire pavement carpeted about an inch deep.
