To be fair some lads *did* point out sharing the video could be problematic, but *no-one* picked up on the fact they've essentially grassed her up for potential #DUI (any cop or bootlicker now has her vehicle number plate)
From my subjective observations, #group features in #Mastodon would go a long way in making people move from #facebook to here. #Groups is what keeps many users from #migrating.
And user want to access these groups in one place, not several,
they want the possibility to create them to just be there, not to have to code or integrate.

Ich persönlich finde es nicht gerade prickelnd, dass mir Mark #Zuckerberg und #Meta ihre #KI hier und auch auf #Facebook und #Instagram einfach aufs Auge drücken.
I finished reading Sarah Wynn-Williams's exposé on #Meta, and honestly, it's so much worse than TikTok.
But of course, no one will clamp down on them - even though they're selling user data to China.
She claims Mark Zuckerberg lied to Congress about Meta not knowing whether the CCP would have access to user data.
"Careless People" also suggests that #Facebook is using subsidiaries to operate in #China. While a lot of it has already been reported, it's an interesting read.
One of many notable takeaways from 'Careless People':
The creators and top execs of Meta do not allow their own children on it.
Think about that.
American politics, in the second Trump administration especially, is as much a tech story as it is a political one. Elon Musk’s dismantling of the federal government via DOGE is a product of the same Silicon Valley ideology that Zuckerberg coined with his infamous 'move fast and break things' motto.
Similarly, Musk’s self-described obsession with rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse to make the government efficient shares a platitudinal vagueness with Zuckerberg’s long-standing mission to connect the world.
Both ideas sound good on paper but are ultimately poorly defined (and executed even worse), leaving the same question unanswered: connection for what? Efficiency at what cost?
The fuckin' state of #facebook man. Depressing. More reasons to quit lol.
