I really don't like Google and I also despise Apple. I want a universally usable Linux operating system for my smartphone which currently runs on Android. I want the operating system to work no matter the model or brand of phone and to be easy to install for even the dumbest consumer. @gpowerf I've experimented a bit with #OpenStreetMap, and it's OK, but it lacks traffic info, and I'm not sure that I'd really trust it for a complex journey. Worth a look though...
