Syrian interim President Ahmed Al-Sharaa (aka Al-Jolani) and the Commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Mazloum Abdi yesterday signed an agreement to “merge” all civil and military institutions affiliated with the Kurdish autonomous administration into the framework of the Syrian state, according to the presidency.

COMBATIENTE DE HTS DENUNCIA ATROCIDADES EN LA COSTA SIRIA

Un miembro de HTS, que se identifica como Muhammad Abu Obaidah, habla sobre la gravedad de las violaciones cometidas en los últimos días en la costa siria.

The Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS)-led government in Damascus and the US-backed, Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have agreed to establish joint military, economic, security, and administrative committees, an official of the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) revealed.

Egyptian members of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham have created «January 25 Revolutionary Movement», declaring their main goal to be the overthrow of Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.

On Sunday, many Christians across Syria attended mass for the first time since the fall of Bashar al-Assad. In Aleppo, only 10% of the city's pre-war Christian population is thought to remain. Since capturing the city, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham has reached out twice to representatives of minority groups to insist they'll be protected. But as FRANCE 24's team on the ground found out, some members of the Christian community aren't convinced.
