@LaserMistress I can relate…As a girl born into the multiculturalism of the 60s and women’s liberation of the 70s ‘you can do anything’…And I was told cream rises to the top…and I believed and was not warned at all this was a bullshit fairytale and not reality, and to be careful & moreover the more I’d shine, the more abuse I’d get. #metoo The harder I worked, the less I was valued. There was no path of excellence or success for me that didn’t make me have to diminish myself.

I’ve followed the Blake Lively Justin Baldoni workplace sexual harassment issue & was confused until I saw that she had a clause in her contract specific about how intimacy or touching is handled. And throughout the scene she was stating in various ways: this was not part of the scene, this is being improvised, let’s not do this, we should be just talking. She is restating many of her contract terms which Baldoni breached. It’s clear to me & Blake is right to take issue.
