A broken mirror frame on clearance inspired me to make this bronze Gastly decoration. I look forward to hanging it up every October 🎃

The Gastly is made of styrofoam and EVA foam. I was scared of weathering it, but the blue patina washes came out fantastic, despite the heavy-handed dry brushing afterward.

Since I made Haunter and Gastly projects, naturally I should do something with Gengar. But inspiration hasn't struck quite yet.

Hanging on a front door is a heavily-weathered bronze replica of Gastly, a ghost Pokemon. It's a simple ball with large ghoulish eyes and a creepy long tongue.

A comment by @Spark reminded me that I created this blacklight Haunter mirror art piece.

The Haunter is made from paper and craft foam painted purple and neon pink.

Using a large photo frame from the thrift store, I sprayed some special paint that turned the glass into a mirror. I also spray-painted the picture frame. (In my bathroom. (Because it was too cold. (Those "Gastly" fumes haunt me.)))

Finally, the drool is hot glue squegged across the front.

i've been playing a LOT of pokerogue recently and it got me thinking about how much i should draw some of the standouts in my teams as maybe femme fatales, maybe just dangerous women

first up is Vileplume! my best run had one of these guys, and oddish is maybe one of my top faves. inspiring lil fellas

Anyways, if you're a Pokemon fan and haven't played it yet, please do! And please share it around. This is one of the only complete Pokemon battle sim implementations on the internet, besides roms/romhacks of the original games. And this is definitely the smallest implementation (only 32kb).
