@ozdreaming @marcprecipice @ascentale @ashok Oh I agree with you! The Meta View app does software updates and all of the photo/video transfer, so it is a necessary evil. But it’s not hard to shut off all the FB/Insta/Meta Cloud/Meta AI integrations. I have the glasses paired as a regular Bluetooth headset so I can use Siri directly & bypass the Meta AI completely. #RayBanMeta

@marcprecipice @ascentale @ashok I hope the glasses have some longevity, but they’re not water-resistant (no IPX rating at all) so I won’t be wearing them all the time. The sound is really good on them, on par with #AirPods for me, so that’s how I primarily use them. They’ve been great for phone calls, too. The camera is just a nice extra. #RayBanMeta

@marcprecipice @ascentale @ashok I’ve been wearing a pair of Ray-Ban Meta sunglasses (primarily to listen to audiobooks) and having a camera right there on my face makes it really easy to capture photos and short videos. Really handy for documenting all those vehicles parked in bike lanes… #RayBanMeta
