Last weekend's #AmperSand, from Coldingham Bay in the Scottish Borders.

More stones using a technique i learned from @/blompling on IG. I always re-use plastic wrap from shipping waste (or from my vegetables at the grocery store), though. I figure if it gets my paper a little dirty, that just gives it more character!

Interesting #bedrock #geological formations can be found on many beaches on the Eastcoast of Vancouver Island & surrounding Gulf Islands. A prehistoric mix of coal, shale & sandstone.

Pebble alphabet by Belgian typographer and designer Clotilde Olyff

A typeface set that consists of uppercase then lowercase letters, followed by an exclamation mark and question mark, placed on a light-grey surface. Each one is a pebble resembling the letter or mark in question. Some of the resemblances are impressive, and the overall effect is marvellous. The pebbles are mostly shades of grey, many tinged yellow or brown, and their textures give them great variety of character and appearance.
