We have a Harris/Walz sign in our front yard. One of our neighbors told my husband at the gym that he admires us for having it. He wants one, but worries that something would happen to his house if he did.
We told him we have an extra one if he wants it. I absolutely understand his concerns, but I refuse to be intimidated by people who drive around with giant Trump flags and “Let’s Go Brandon” bumper stickers on their trucks.

I previously noted the weird attack ads against Colin Allred citing the case of Mack Beggs as evidence that Allred fails to protect girls sports.
From the article: The UIL regulations said that he has to compete in the category corresponding to the sex denoted on his birth certificate. Beggs was forced to compete in the girl’s competition, which is exactly the rules Republicans like Cruz endorse now.

Again in Texas we have a formidable candidate trying to unseat that POS Ted Cruz. This race is close y’all and I truly hope come three weeks from now Allred shows up the winner. Not sure that’s gonna happen but polls are within the statistical margin of error.
I watched the debate from yesterday, earlier this morning and I can’t accurately describe the disgust I have for Ted Cruz. He is such a smarmy, hypocritical coward and self-centered little shit.
From the get-go it was clear he is rattled by his opponent and I can’t help but think rattled by how close the race is. He evaded question after question like the one asking about his support of one the most brutal abortion policies in the nation. He leaned into his support of the Zionist movement in #Israel to commit genocide knowing his base thinks that’s a flex.
To all my fellow #Texas voters on Mastodon, please vote Cruz out.
Let’s also not forget that while Texas was suffering a major disaster that was exacerbated by policy he and his party supports, he abandoned the state to Cancun while Texans were suffering and dying.
He ran away rather than fight for real solutions.
Rafael Cruz needs to lose his job.

While on the evening dog walk, I saw a new political yard sign. It’s getting to be a bit dark at this time so it was a little tough to see. It’s pink so wasn’t obviously political.
