It's incredibly frustrating that the one company that 3D prints a part I need for my #Toyota #Tacoma has not restocked the part in over a year. It's a complicated enough geometry that I'm not going to be able to recreate it myself and they won't sell me the STL file so I can get someone else to print it. I've talked to some other people and companies who make similar parts but none have wanted to tackle this.

Never seen baby rhubarb previous to now. These are grown from seed from the Experimental Farm Network's "Rhubarb Breeders Mix".
This mix is of 4 different varieties all allowed to cross with each other. Rhubarb are normally asexually/clonally propagated, so if one of these is particularly good, we might have a new variety on our hands.
Most people headed up to Seattle for the big protest, but this Tacoma event was organized with just a few days notice. Easily over a thousand!

On the weekend, visited the Museum of Glass in Tacoma, where my favorite was a sculpture called Winter Plum by Debora Moore. Found this comforting and lovely. The fruits, the frost, the branches, are all made from glass. There can still be beautiful moments at the end of the world.

Hello, I am Justin (he/him) and I live the rad city of #Tacoma Wa, aka #GritCity, with my partner and our two dogs.
I fix problems for a living and try to be the best #human I can day to day. I try and meditate at least weekly. I have also started to enjoy pottery and sewing as an outlet for creativity. I love to cook, and know my way around a ceramic smoker. If you know me in person you have probably tried my bacon.
