@jonobie One of themany good things about the awesome stats at #TheStorygraph is that they me a VERY exact answer to your question:
Average progress through a book before DNFing 31%
Average time with a book before DNFing
2 days

If you haven't switched from #Goodreads to #TheStoryGraph yet, don't hesitate. I've been using it for a few weeks now, and it's Goodreads before it was enshittified by Amazon (and much more): you can add missing books, if you see problems you can't fix yourself, you report them and a volunteer librarian fixes them within a few days...
My fave thing about using #TheStoryGraph this past year is the way it shuffles the display of my TBR pile on the main reading page.
I’ve read so many titles this year that had been languishing on my #Goodreads TBR list, b/c StoryGraph brought them to the top & I went “Yeah, that sounds fun!”
9yo has got interested in the idea of logging her reading on #TheStorygraph and her reviews are . #Bookstodon @bookstodon
And here I am, finally deciding to give #Bookwyrm another try and importing a bunch of books from #TheStoryGraph only to find out that #OpenLibrary.org is down, so lots of failed imports.
Guess, I'll have to take care of the dishes or something.
