I glued the bubinga fingerboard to the #bass neck this afternoon. The hard maple neck is reinforced with 2 (probably overkill) carbon fiber rods and a truss rod. Inlays and side markers are Total Boat #epoxy with Black Diamond Pigments for the blue/green color. Sometimes vintage/antique finds come in stages. I found this unusual paddle and knew I wanted to make it into an amaro flight sampler. This meant searching for small, low glasses with a large foot. They aren't easy to find. Most of these type of glasses have a small foot. It's also hard to find them with unchipped rims.
